The Shire of Wickepin Community Awards recognise those who have made a significant contribution to our community and promote community responsibility.
The age of eligibility for the Young Citizen of the Year Award has been raised to 25 years of age and the eligibility criteria now includes academic, commerce, trade, sport, etc and/or noteworthy contributions to the community, and persons will still be eligible as long as their primary residence is within the Shire of Wickepin.
If you know someone or a group who have made an outstanding contribution, why not celebrate them by nominating them for a Community Award.
Awards are presented at the Australia Day Breakfast held on Thursday 26 January 2023 in Wickepin.
Nominations are now open and close 4.00pm on Friday 2 December 2022.
