The KidSport program assists eligible families with up to $200 annually for each of their children aged between 5 – 18 years, to subsidise fees to join a sport and recreation club. Eligible families include those with health care cards or pension concession card, or those referred by registered Referral Agents, such as schools, juvenile justice teams, government agencies and health practitioners. The eligible student or parent/guardian can obtain an application form from the Shire of Wickepin.

The parent/guardian will need to fill in the application and take it to be validated at the local government where they live or complete the form online. A photocopy of the health care card or pension concession card must be attached.

Once the application form has been validated at the Shire of Wickepin, the parent/guardian takes the Kidsport voucher to the sport or recreation club for processing when registering their children. The club will then invoice the Shire of Wickepin.
