The KidSport program assists eligible families with up to $200 annually for each of their children aged between 5 – 18 years, to subsidise fees to join a sport and recreation club. Eligible families include those with health care cards or pension concession card, or those referred by registered Referral Agents. The eligible student or parent/guardian can obtain an application form from the Shire of Wickepin.

The parent/guardian will need to fill in the online application and this will be validated by the Shire of Wickepin. A photocopy of the health care card or pension concession card must be attached.

Once the application form has been validated at the Shire of Wickepin a unique code for each child will be sent to the respective sporting clubs and the parent/guardian. The club will then invoice the Shire of Wickepin.

For more information regarding KidSport contact the Shire of Wickepin on 9888 1005 or email If a hard copy is required this can be downloaded here or picked up from the Shire of Wickepin.
