Dog Control
The Dog Act requires all dogs to be registered with the shire if it is 3 months or older. The registration period is 1 November to 31 October.
All dogs must be microchipped before registration. Copies of microchipping papers must be provided on registration.
All dogs found roaming will be impounded and the owners fined. For the release of an unregistered dog the registration must be paid along with the fine.
