Council has a number of suitable venues for hire which can cater for meetings, small to large functions and various sporting activities. Tables and chairs are also available for hire to the public. All bookings for the following facilities are to be made through the shire office.

Whiteboard, overhead projector and screen are also available for you to hire.

Community Centre

Located at the sports ground on Campbell St, the Wickepin Community Centre is an ideal and modern location for meeting and functions catering for up to approx 100 people.

Facilities available for use inside the centre include a commercial kitchen, bar, plastic chairs, fold away tables, tv, crèche and bbq facilities.

Town Hall

The historic town hall, originally built in 1919, is located on Johnston Street and is still used today. The venue will hold up to 150 people and has a fully functional kitchen, a large stage area and bathrooms all which have been altered and improved to meet todays requirements. Today, the hall caters for many wedding receptions, cabarets, combined sporting group dinners and is the base for the Nightingale Choir.

Old Bank House

The old bank house houses our visiting hairdresser and the local beauty therapist and has one vacant room for hire. This room is ideal for small groups to meet or for just one on one meetings. This room can also be booked at the shire office.

The old bank itself is now the office of the Facey Group which is an association comprising broad acre farm businesses based in and around the Shire of Wickepin.
