About the Shire of Wickepin

The town of Wickepin boasts impressive sporting and recreational facilities including grassed football, hockey and cricket ovals, a 25 metre swimming pool and indoor netball, basketball, badminton and volleyball courts.  Community facilities include a Post Office, 24 hour fuel facility, Community Health Centre, Ambulance, Community Resource Centre and library, playgroup and singles and aged housing.  A general store, hotel and newsagency are also available in Wickepin.

The town of Yealering offers recreational facilities including: caravan park,  tennis courts, oval, bowling green, 18 hole golf course and a new bike skills track. Businesses in the town include: Post Office and shop, hotel and parts and repairs. 

Harrismith is a small town on the eastern boundary of the shire and includes a hotel, fuel, hall and tourist information by with picnic area.

The town of Tincurrin is home to a small number of residents and the local services include: rural supplies and CBH grain storage facility.
