Cat Control
The Cat Act 2011 in Western Australia requires all domestic cats aged 6 months and older to be microchipped, sterilised, and registered with their local government.
The registration period is 1 November to 31 October.
All cats found roaming will be impounded and the owners fined. For the release of an unregistered cat the registration must be paid along with the fine.
